Escaping the Upside Down: What Stranger Things Taught Us About Teamwork, Resilience, and World-Class Tile Installation

We finally did it. We binged the entirety of Stranger Things.
If you've watched it, you know the feeling—the nostalgia, the adrenaline, the emotional rollercoaster. But looking back on the series, beyond the monsters, we realized the story isn't really about the supernatural. It's a story about family. It's about a team that refuses to leave anyone behind, no matter how dark things get in the "Upside Down."
Watching the characters grow, struggle, and eventually triumph made us reflect on our own journey here in Central Florida. Much like the kids in Hawkins, we haven't reached this point alone.
The "Demogorgons" of Business
Running a business—especially in a trade as detailed and physical as tile installation—has its own monsters to fight. We have faced tight deadlines, complex custom designs that tested our skills, and the inevitable hurdles of entrepreneurship. There were moments when we fell down. Moments where the "dusting off" took a little longer than we'd like to admit.
But just like in the show, we had friends and family to back us up. We couldn't have matured into the company we are today without our incredible community here in Clermont and Orlando. You are the ones who picked us up and pushed us back into the ring to keep climbing.
Climbing the Mountain Together in 2026
As we kick off this new year, we are setting our sights higher than ever. We love where we've been—from the historic homes in downtown Orlando to the new developments springing up in Clermont—but we love where we are headed even more.
This year is about setting "high goals." Maybe your high goal is finally tackling that master bath renovation you've been dreaming of. Maybe it's ripping out the old flooring to create a modern, open living space with beautiful new tile flooring. Whatever your mountain is this year, you don't have to climb it solo.
We are here to help you get across that finish line. Because, as we realized watching the credits roll, there is no point in reaching the top of the mountain if you have no one to share the view with.
Let's make this year our best season yet.
