Project 02 · Kitchen backsplash

Three white ceramic tiles in a random layout

Materials & details: The Tile Shop Signature Collection white ceramic

For a separate Lake Nona kitchen, the client chose three tiles from The Tile Shop’s Signature Collection white ceramic line. Aesthetic Tile installed them in a random arrangement.

The finished backsplash uses the variation within the white ceramic selection across the range wall and beneath the cabinets. Close views show the different surface details without relying on a color change.

Decide what stays before changing the room

A newer home may still need a bathroom layout or kitchen finish that works better for you. We look at what stays, where the new tile meets it, and the surface underneath. Waterproofing and ventilation do different jobs in controlling moisture.
