Project 01 · Shower removal and revised installation

A shower rescue, from demolition to rebuild

Materials & details: FloFX tiled drain grate

After the Leesburg clients dismissed their original installer, they asked Aesthetic Tile to correct the unsatisfactory work. Aesthetic Tile removed that work and rebuilt the shower with a revised design and FloFX tiled drain grate.

Demolition used plastic containment barriers, protected floors and surfaces, HEPA dust extraction, and an open window. The gallery shows the dust-containment setup and the prepared shower before tile installation.

Manufacturer warranties depend on the selected products, documented installation and applicable written terms.

Finding out what needs correcting

The visible tile may tell only part of the story. Before planning a replacement, we inspect the work and discuss what needs removing, how to contain the dust, and what condition the surface underneath is in. A shower’s waterproofing needs attention along with its new finish.
